Participants should be at line-up location by 1:00 pm.

RTUC will form in the alley behind the store on the NW corner of Beech and 6 Mile (across Beech Daly from Our Lady of Loretto Church). Parking is suggested at the end in the St. Valentine’s lot or on side streets.
The roads will be closed around 1:30-1:45 pm. Participants need to be in their meeting spots prior to that time.
At 2:00 pm – the parade succession will begin by leaving Claude Allison Park (approximately 1/2 mile north of 6 Mile) and heading down Beech Daly towards Our Lady of Loretto. Units will merge (like a zipper-effect) and the parade will continue down Beech Daly.
The parade will end at Town Hall. Do not stop in the middle of the street. Continue past Town Hall and move down one of the side streets out of the way so the other participants can continue down Beech Daly safely and the residents can see the rest of the parade.
After the Memorial Day Parade, there will be a short ceremony at Veteran’s Park to honor our fallen heroes. Please join us as we show our respect for these amazing individuals.
Immediately following the ceremony, a brief reception will be held at the Marquee of Redford Township (located in the Town Hall complex) sponsored by the Commission on Youth and Families. Light refreshments including hot dogs and ice cream will be provided; there will also be bouncers for the kids. Come out to thank a veteran and meet your Redford Township neighbors.
